XmlUnescape Functoid

Description: The XmlUnescape Functoid removes the character escapes within the defined value by converting the HTML friendly format to XML syntax characters. Inputs with their allowed values:

• Param
  • Literal Text entered manually
  • Output of another Functoid
  • Value of a Table

Example:

  • <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?><records>
  • <record>
  • <firstname aka="Thom">Thomas</firstname>
  • <lastname>Mcgowan</lastname>
  • </record>
  • </records>

• Output
